Each division exposes its own API family on developer.dhl.com. For merchants fulfilling from France, the export service is almost always DHL Express, alongside domestic carriers such as Colissimo or Mondial Relay. DHL handles transport; myFulfillment centralizes the operation, from multichannel orders and barcode-checked packing to MyDHL API shipment creation, customs documents, and DHL tracking write-back.

DHL via myFulfillment takes orders from any sales channel or marketplace that feeds myFulfillment. Orders flow into the OMS, packing is barcode-checked, the DHL Express shipment is created through MyDHL API, then tracking flows back to the customer.
At packing time, myFulfillment creates the DHL Express shipment through MyDHL API and prints the label as PDF or ZPL depending on the station printer. Customs documents for international orders are generated in the same Shipment call.

No. The integration does not return a monetary DHL rate to myFulfillment. For some DHL Express services, it queries RateBook with your account to check that the selected service is available, then uses the returned service types and charge codes to select the label request type.

Each product line includes its description, unit value, quantity, customs code, country of manufacture, and weight. The packing flow then produces the commercial invoice with the label.
